Successfully completing our Florida online traffic school basic driver improvement online course will allow you to dismiss your traffic ticket and keep your official Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) Driver Record clean.
We have made this process as easy as 1-2-3. Simply follow the steps below and you'll have your traffic ticket dismissed in no time:
- Register HERE for our Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) approved basic driver improvement online course.
- Begin reading our Florida basic driver improvement online course. The online course is designed to fit into your schedule, so you may start and stop whenever you like and we automatically save your progress.
- After graduation, we send your Florida basic driver improvement course completion certificate directly to you. Simply make sure you've paid all required court fees and that the court has received your certificate of completion before your due date. It's that easy!
A traffic violation on your official Florida Driver Record can lead to a suspended license and auto insurance rate increases. Completing our Florida online traffic school basic driver improvement course can help keep your official Florida Driver Record clean and insurance rates low. Upon successful completion of our Florida online traffic school basic driver improvement course, no points will be charged to your driver record, adjudication of guilt is withheld and your safe driver status is maintained.

Note: you are responsible for ensuring your Florida online traffic school basic driver improvement course completion certificate reaches the court by your completion due date. Florida BDI Online Traffic School is not permitted to mail the completion certificate to the court on your behalf.

If you were a driver in a crash and are found at fault and someone was transported to the hospital or you had two crashes in a two-year period, which resulted in property damage greater than $50, the state will require you to complete our Florida online traffic school basic driver improvement course.
